Admission at St. Paul’s Matriculation School is restricted by certain policies of the management and by the conditions of age, ability and conduct of the candidate. Hence, applicants for admission may be given an oral / written test at the time of admission. The decision of the school authorities regarding the admission shall be final.
Admissions are made in Pre-KG, LKG, UKG classes and for standards I to IX.
Since this is a fee lending school, every pupil is expected to be prompt in paying the fees on time. Fees must be paid at the fees counter by Cash/Cheque/Demand Draft/Net banking etc. All payments must go through the school office cashier only. Parents are requested not to have any cash dealing with any other person. Parents are instructed to get receipt for all their payments. Any cash dealing without the official receipt is illegal.
The school cash counter works from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm. School fees have to be paid in three installments viz. I term - May, II term - October and III term - January
1. The parents/guardians are requested to desist from meeting the children or teachers during class hours.
2. The parents are expected to co-operate with the school authorities enforcing regularity, punctuality, discipline and decorum by taking active interest in their children’s progress.
3. The parents are expected to co-operate with the school authorities in the development of character and imparting the values of rich tradition and cultural heritage.
4. The school’s Moto “Reach the unreached” should be remembered outside the school, each pupil is an ambassador of the school.
5. The parent’s are informed to pay II term fees in October and III term fees in January, Otherwise pupils will not be allowed to sit for the Half-yearly and Annual examination respectively.
6. Parents who require Transfer Certificate should apply before the 15th May of the Academic year. If not, the I Term Fees of the following academic year has to be paid.
a) The parents should see that their children do not absent themselves from school except under unavoidable circumstances.
b) The pupils should be in the school premises 10 minutes before the first bell at 8.55 am. Late arrival will be dealt to inculcate discipline.
c) If a pupil is to be absent from the school, an application for leave must be made and sanction must be obtained in advance from the Principal.
d) In case of absence owing to sickness or other emergencies, a leave letter must be sent to the school on the first day of reporting to the school.
e) Pupils suffering from infectious diseases will not be allowed to attend classes.
f) Irregular attendance and prolonged absence without proper reason my lead for removal from the school.
g) Absence on the re-opening day will not be permitted. A fine of Rs.5/- for the first day and thereafter Rs5/- for subsequent days.
h) A minimum of 90% attendance is essential for promotion to the next higher class.
i) Absence from classes without intimation will invite a fine of Rs.5/- per day.
j) For children who are removed from the rolls re-admission may be considered by the Principal/Correspondent on the merit of each case.
1. Every pupil must bring the School Diary daily.
2. The pupils should be at the school premises at least 10 minutes before the first bell. Late comers will be dealt to inculcate discipline.
3. The pupils are expected to be neat and clean in their uniform
4. The pupils are held responsible to school authorities for their behaviour outside the school also.
5. The pupils will be responsible for the custody of their books and belongings. The pupils should not attend the school with gold ornaments.
6. The pupils are prohibited from bringing comics or other objectionable literature into the school.
7. The pupils suffering from contagious or infectious diseases will be not allowed to attend school.
8. The pupils are expected to converse only in English in the school premises
Girls who wish to keep short hair must see that no licks of hair fall on their forehead. No pony tails are allowed.
Those who have long hair must plait it neatly and tie with black ribbon with house uniform or white ribbon with house uniform.
No flowers or decorative ornaments should adorn the hair.
Boys must keep their hair neatly cut short. No long hair is allowed
Personal cleanliness and respectful behaviour towards staff, visitors and fellow pupils are expected at all times. Hands in pockets, slouching gait, untidiness etc. are considered to be uncomely of an ideal pupil.
It is strictly forbidden to write or scribble or splash ink on the classroom walls or school compound walls or in any way disfigure or damage school property. Severe action will be taken against pupils not adhering to these rules. Also, the cost of repair or replacement will be charged from parents.
Monday to Saturday 8.00 am to 5.30 pm.
The school office will remain closed on all the declared holidays, 2rd Saturday and on all Sundays
